Mig’s Process

We’ll start with a chat, where I’ll get to know your personal style and preferences like an old friend catching up over coffee. Together, we’ll dive into the endless tailoring possibilities for your garment, picking the perfect touches to create something truly you.

Then, it’s time to roll up my sleeves (literally) and get to work. I’ll pin your garment, take precise measurements, and start shaping it into the look you’ve envisioned. Every detail is on the table—from button placement to waistband size—because perfection is in the details.

Once we’ve nailed down the fit and style, I’ll sew everything myself with the kind of care only a one-woman business can provide. No outsourcing here—I’m the one making sure your garment is as flawless as possible from start to finish.

In about 3-4 weeks, we’ll meet again for the final fitting. Together, we’ll make any last tweaks to ensure it fits like a dream (or a glove, depending on your preference!).

And when you finally receive your custom piece, rest assured I’ve taken as much care with the interior as the exterior. While some tailors may mess with the original construction, I believe in honoring the craftsmanship that made the garment great in the first place. I only make the adjustments that preserve the design’s original integrity, so you can enjoy a piece that reflects both your personal style and the artistry behind it.
